Neurodivergent

This collection incorporates designs centering around neurodiversity. Neurodivergent refers to mental health conditions such as ADHD, ASD and dyslexia among others. These are neurodevelopmental conditions, meaning that they are present from childhood to adulthood. The term refers to how these conditions are natural variations of brain functioning and are differences and not deficits. Using the term ‘neurodiversity’ attempts to break free from the stereotypes surrounding these conditions and to acknowledge the individual expression of neurodiverse people and their experiences.
